quiet contemplation

busy day completing the pile of things to be packed by the shippers who arrive tomorrow. Em has been in excellent spirits all day, quite calmly and reasonably letting me remove her toys on the understanding that they will reappear in England a few weeks after us. Here she is amongst it all, donning a garland she found (it's part of one of my halloween costumes). It's all done. Now I'm all dressed up and ready for a night of sophisticated canapés and cocktails with the ladies.
