Newhaven harbour

A new slant on the harbour this morning, as we wandered back from having coffee in Porto and Fi (excellent place - makes a great espresso). The pontoons in the harbour are a fairly recent addition - I don't recall seeing them before this summer - with the resulting increase in the number of boats tied up.

The Dolphin, from Newhaven, had just tied up and is flying a Saltire; there is also a big Saltire flying next to the lighthouse - a sign, perhaps, of a new national consciousness and confidence.
