Lost Boy

Possibly the hottest day of the year. I went and picked the Bandits up, and brought them back to Methven because it was too hot to take Rocky in the car, and I didn't have anyone to let him out if I stayed at Burntie today.

We popped into Tesco on the way home to buy some ice lollies, and on the sale rail were some dressing up clothes reduced to £3. Well - how could I resist? Especially when 2 little faces were begging me to buy them for their dressing up box. As soon as we got back to the house, Arlo changed into his Peter Pan costume (even although it was felt,and he must have been so hot), and Ida got into her Princess dress.

I really wish I had managed to get a shot of the two of them together in costume, but it didn't happen. I think on points, Peter Pan was the better fit, and certainly meant I didn't have to apply as much suncream as the day demanded!

It's hard to believe this wee lost boy will be going into P2 after the holidays. How did that happen?
