Common Lime tree

While waiting for a bus I was gazing up through this tree (as you do) and admiring the lovely fresh green of the leaves. I was able to take a close look at the seeds and was struck by the texture of them - furry, like tiny tennis balls.
Incidentally, the Horse Chestnut beside it looked quite poorly - some of the leaves were shrivelled and there were very few conkers on it.
