Goodies
This an upmarket Lebanese food-hall with a restaurant in Jeddah. You pick what you want from the displays rather than a menu, take a seat in the restaurant upstairs and wait for it! Simple, effective and really tasty. I decided against the sheep feet, and other similar 'delicacies' and opted instead for a mezze of houmous/tabbuleh/skewered meat/grilled shrimp and pitta.
This was the imported fruit stand from Lebanon; quite a display. I was going to get the veg too but was attracting attention because I had my camera out, so thought better of it.
It's not uncommon for places to be packed out around 10-11pm, after the last prayers. Shopping malls and places like this are open until midnight and beyond. The roads are particularly busy late at night as well. Similar to 5-7pm in the UK. Night owls the Saudis!
