Jasper

Jasper is an 11 month old standard wire-haired dachshund. He's an absolute poppet and belongs to the friends I stayed with in Yorkshire. The name dachshund is of German origin and literally means "badger dog" and the standard dog was bred to chase and flush out rabbits, badgers etc. Jasper has no such inclination - he just wants to be petted and to play.
