Dog Days

After my morning exercise (with company), I retreated to my kennel and did some background reading for next weeks trip, and might have had the occasional snooze.

Have used the phrase Dog Days in the context of hot summer days in the past without really understanding - all to do with Dog Star Sirius (apparently).
