Jengaaaa!

We had our annual company BBQ tonight at the Royal Oak in Kirby Muxloe. The weather gods smiled on us and it was a bright sunny warm evening, so we were able to spend all the time outside. The food was very good, especially the salmon kebabs.

After the food we were split into teams to take part in some games. I was a bit of demon on the quoits and not bad with the boules. As the evening drew to a close everybodies attention was taken by the game of Jenga which was developing between Nathalie, Matt and Big Andy.

The tower was getting taller and taller, and then the top part was left balanced on a single block, but the game continued and the tower got higher still. Then lower down another block was removed leaving another layer balanced on a single block and yet the tower still stood!

Finally Nathalie withdrew a block and the tower tipped over. Here is the moment as the tower started to go and everybody except Nathalie had scattered.

It was a great evening out, but I'm a little tired now.
