Friends reunited

A wonderful day today meeting up with friends that I haven't seen since we moved, 10 months ago!

We met up at a beautiful National Trust property just the other side of Milton Keynes. We had a walk in the landscape gardens and a picnic under the trees by the lake. This kids all got on brilliantly and it felt like we had only just seen each other last week, rather than last year (although the younger ones have grown quite considerably and this was first introductions for my little man). The weather was fantastic and we all had a well earned ice cream when we arrived back at the tea rooms.

I'm shattered tonight after such a busy day. Think I'll hit the hay nice and early!
