Nifty Fifty

A quick shot of a lens I found 2nd hand in Leamington.
I hear and read so many recommendations for these I thought it was worth a punt - it looks hardly used so the first few test shots should be interesting.

I love the way it makes the camera look less of a threat, and in an odd way the noisy focus motor and plastic construction. Photographed with my 100mm L series macro lens, so this feels rather like listening to the Sex Pistols after Yes or Pink Floyd.
