Who is the Ferris of them all........?

Sitting outside a café today, having a lunchtime latte, I eavesdropped heard a couple having a conversation.

He told her, that her eyes were beautifully bright and shiny. She was clearly very pleased with the compliment.

Until he continued with....'You remind me of a fresh mackerel.'

I don't think he understood why she got annoyed......
