Heavenly View

Went to Mums for lunch today and on the way back (as is my custom lately) I diverted to another place on my list of spots to explore.

This one is the church of St Mary Magdalene, Upper (or Over) Winchendon, in Buckinghamshire. There is a fabulous view down into the valley & then up to Waddesdon Manor, with its avenue of trees which seems to go on for miles. I'll blip that view another day. I would guess that not many visitors come here as it really is in a little back water with no made road surface. Really worth a look around this mainly 14th Century building- but regrettably its the 1st one I have visited that was locked up tight.

Got home & then received an SOS from N who was working from home today. She'd opened the patio door & suddenly according to her there was a cloud of flying ants going everywhere & she couldn't shut the door. Good old Pops to the rescue !

I only saw 4 ants....
