Busy day at Port Appin
Been trying to build up a supply of 'appropriate' road vehicles for this diorama loosely based on an imaginary area in NW Scotland. I picked the name 'Port Appin' simply because I liked it.
Anyway, it was pointed out that I needed a petrol tanker. Because islands needed fuel it had to be something that would fit on a small ferry. I chose a Leyland Comet chassis and a stock tank. The decals are printed, the cab is part painted and glazed and all I have to do now is make it all fit together. Ha!
