Leaving

RP1 suggested a fine way to take leave of the island--she and I swam 2kms in pretty cold water to get to Burtonport. Thanks to the support team for kayaking, making tea, and bringing dry clothes.

This is LE Casey setting out with her brand new engine. Only one kayaker got to hitch a lift home; the others had to make do with an idyllic (I imagine) paddle back.

It was hard to leave.
