Leonard Street Will Tear You Apart

Another run, another photo...

Have recently started running a new route with my friend Casey who works near Old Street Station.

Our route starts just off City Road near Moorefields Eye Hospital where we pick up the Regent's Canal. From there we run 3 miles along its towpath towards the Mile End Road.

From there we head back along the main highway towards Whitechapel. Using a cut through we take Hanbury Street which bisects Brick Lane and brings us out to Commercial Street, for our 5 mile target and end point.

This is the second week we have run it and we managed to knock 35 secs per mile from our average pace this week, so not too shabby.

A rewarding beer would have followed except I had to head home for my monthly Foreign Film Club night, but not before capturing this image.

It incorporates 2 of my favourite things; the music of Joy Division and Comic Book imagery.
