Lest We Forget

It has been a National Day of Mourning in Australia today to honour the Australians who lost their lives in the recent MH17 Air Disaster.

It has been a day of reflection for Australians and the wildflower Wattle has been the national emblem to mark the day.

I decided I would wander through the property today as a way of marking the day as I knew I would be surrounded by wattle in all its glory. You cannot help but wonder how something like this could happen. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who are having to cope with losing their loved ones in such a horrendous and cowardly way.
