Bushtit bathtime

These tiny 4 inch birds are the smallest by weight in North America except for the hummingbirds. They move in flocks of up to 50 birds from tree to tree foraging mostly for insects. What I like about them is their amazing way to be close together when they bathe, or in the suet feeder at wintertime. I've read that they build extraordinary hanging nests woven of moss,lichen, spider web and other materials, up to a foot long with a small entrance near the top. I like to see one of those!
