Rust never sleeps

We have a rusty old gate as a garden ornament. It makes a useful screen and as such is overlooked unless I am looking for a blip!

Another hot day in the garden. I am still clearing ivy and vinca. This will be an ongoing project for years but I seem to be making some progress.

We also met up with the plumber as there's an issue with the glass for the shower. We came to an amicable agreement on the way forward. It will mean a week's delay to the completion but as long as the weather holds the outside shower remains a pleasure. In our conversation I found out the plumber is, like me, a vegetarian, a juggler and a Buddhist.
