Agriculture

Lovely breakfast with B's homemade waffles then picked up some coffee from the local shack (where they offered to post our postcards for us having guessed the price of the stamps!) and set off for a south/east road trip through miles of farming country (lots of irrigation despite drought). Saw loads of people bent double picking strawberries probably boiling alive in the heat and miles of globe artichokes and raspberries. Visited an outlet mall for K to get Osh Kosh clothes for little Lola and had a burger lunch in A's honour. At the end of the day on our way home stopped off at a family farm ('Don't panic it's organic') to pick out some things for dinner....all looked gorgeous and an honour box to leave payment. This old wind turbine was outside in their yard-from a gentler time of farming than we'd seen earlier.
Sat out on the deck relaxing before making a rather yummy dinner.
