Maiden Flight

Boys Toys! Have wanted a model plane since I was a mere nipper, walking in Sutton Park and seeing people flying remote controlled planes from a designated area in the 1960s.

Things have moved on and the advent of multi-rotor copters have revolutionised flying. I finally took the plunge and tried out the plane today. It's a doddle to fly and even has a feature in the event that the signal is lost. In those circumstances it returns to the take off point, lands and switches off. It was a bit scary trying it for the first time but it worked perfectly.

Have now added a gimbal and attached the GoPro and hope to do some aerial photography tomorrow.
