Bonny lassies

Another go at taking some portraits as today I had some very willing volunteers. However the light was very low this evening and it was raining outside so they weren't keen to go out. The best I could do was pose them near the window and use a fill in flash. Depth of field not great but I do like this one because they all have such eager bonny faces.

Today is my daughters birthday so we have had presents and cake and now some friends round for the night. My daughter is teaching them all to play poker amid much hilarity. They were happy to take a break to get their photo's taken.

I may have another go outside with them tomorrow if the weather is dry. I hope you can pick up the fun in this shot even although it's not as I wanted.
