The cemetery in North Bute, by the old roofless Church of Scotland church - I don't know the story about that! I was up with my warden, Sheila, spotting the location of the grave of the wife of one of my predecessors on Bute. His wife died on 11 August 1982, and it appears that he will join her in the next few days. He is in Kent, not remembered by all that many people up here, just a few, but once he has died, he will come join her below this big sky in this spot on a Scottish island.
