After the rain in Skelghyll Woods

Having waited for the rain to ease we decided on a walk through Skelghyll Woods up onto Wansfell.

I decided to have a play with the settings on the camera and this is the result. On the way back down I diverted to have a look at the waterfalls just above Ambleside whilst Richard picked up some milk.

Not one of my better decisions! Slipped and bashed my shin, cut my palm and the camera took a knock too. Just what I need before two more days of orienteering. Fortunately the camera seems to have survived and is still functioning. The irritating part was my walking poles were still in the car. Lesson duly learnt!
