The sites of Waterloo

Our friends who we met when we lived in Oman arrived today for a brief visit. We showed them the delights of Waterloo by starting off with the Wellington Museum before climbing the steps of the Butte Du Lion. We were rewarded with spectacular views as it was a really clear sunny day.

We spent the whole time chatting, reminiscing and laughing and it was great to see how well Olivia got on with K as she is five years older than her. They made loom bands together, chatted and just got on really well. Dex was a little in awe too. We both have photos of K holding Olivia and Dexter when they were newborn babies.

It really was like we'd just seen them yesterday which is a sign of good friendship.
