Rosa Rugosa buds.

I love the rugosa rose, the buds, Hips and flowers are beautiful.
It makes a wonderful hedge / windbreak.
There is enough flesh on the hips for them to be eaten raw (not the seeds though) and they taste delightful both raw and cooked.
