Morning

I had a meeting at Lake Rotoiti this morning. I got there 10 minutes early so I took a side trip down to Kerr Bay.

I took the traditional Lake Rotoiti shot from the jetty looking up to the head of the lake. I like the contrast between the lifting snow cloud on the left and that blue cloud in the middle. Mount Robert on the right has had a nice wee dump of snow too.

The lake was really choppy - probably the choppiest I've ever seen it.

When my meeting finished at 2 p.m. the sky was totally clear and the snow was starkly white. I ducked back to the lake and took some more photos but I really liked this morning one the best showing the start of a new day.
