Souvenir of Illinois

There were tons of these wicked cool things on the ground in Illinois. I think they are from the sweet gum tree. They were so cool. I said to Ingrid "remind me to get some to take home so I could shoot them in black and white." After the fall ...... I forgot all about it and Ingrid surprised me with one to take home. Well I found it today. All schmooshed up. So what was supposed to be a wicked cool study of a wicked cool thing is now a picture if a schmooshed up thing. The fact that a friend remembered that I wanted it makes me smile because she remembered.
