Warwick castle

Day trip to visit Warwick castle. In principle could have been really nice, I love learning the history behind all these places, but sadly it was done up a bit too much like a theme park. Beautiful inside but was shocked that kids were being allowed to run around and touch all the really old artefacts without their parents batting an eyelid! Sadly I think the historical significance was lost on a lot of people! Either way I still managed to get a lot out of it, including a demonstration of a trebuchet in action!
