Where's the Tractor..?

Another farming blip... After supper at a friend's house this evening we took a circuitous route home because we could see a tractor and baler working in the field where the combine was last night. It proved a great distraction from the distress caused by having to leave our friend's house - the lure of someone else's toys is always strong.

Ted is at a difficult stage sleep-wise, in that if he has a daytime nap, even 5 minutes in the car, he then won't go to sleep at night at his usual time of 7:30. He will play quite happily downstairs instead, but I'd rather he was in bed! So this morning we visited a friend 40 minutes' drive away, and of course he fell asleep in the car in the way home. Therefore an evening wander around the village was actually quite a useful way to wear him out a little. He finally crashed out at 9pm... Yawn!
