The Wonderful World of Dissocia

I took a bit of break from the fringe this morning and decided to have a wee lie in. I'd left the review of Avenue Q from last night, so I completed and submitted it (see yesterday's blip for the link), then headed across town to see Sarah for a massage. After days of standing around in the Commonwealth Pool and then the stress of reviewing, I was all tense. As usual she sorted me out!

A quick stop at home for Wesley snuggles and a delightful homemade carbonara, and now I'm out reviewing again.

Tonight's shows were:

13. The Duchess of Malfi. A love story that turns into a nightmarish tragedy. Review here!

14. The Wonderful World of Dissocia. A play about a young woman suffering from dissociative disorder. Review here!

Dissocia is my pick of the day and I've used the flyer, with some filtering for my blip. I'm also fairly certain it's my pick of the entire festival. It made me cry. Run to the computer and book a ticket now. Seriously, GO NOW! I might go and buy a ticket to see it again...
