Day Two GNH

Glasgow National Hockey Centre with added tents and portaloos to provide a lovely festival-style plaza for spectators between games, in the distance, from my last mile posting today. The hottest day of the year, we were forced to deploy our umbrellas as parasols. I think I drank 6 litres of water and supplied numerous high-fives to small (and larger) children.

These athletes spent most of the week training on Glasgow Green, at least one of them had a Kenya top but I don't know about the rest; they were very focused and didn't stop to chat. Unlike the numerous police, who kept asking directions as they were mainly from Inverness. And they all wanted a go on my foam finger too.
