The Millenium Bridge, aka the "Wobbly Bridge"
View from the Tate Modern café.
Went up to London to meet my second cousin ( my Dad's cousin, is that right?) and his wife, to go the Matisse Cut-Outs exhibition.
As I understand it, Matisse used hand-cut shapes to plan his paintings, and in later life the compositions became art-works in themselves. There was a lot on display - 14 rooms, and the same motifs did recur, but the film of him creating the shapes free-hand, and the clear precursors of some of his paintings made the journey up there well worthwhile.
