Apple Strudel on Swiss National Day

There were festivities in each and every village throughout the day and into the night, fires and fireworks in the valleys and on the mountain tops! M's face is a bit of a give-away here: a first-class brunch in the village began the festivities with traditional music and a comedian as entertainment, then at midday the rain came down and as everyone headed off for dryer and warmer surroundings M spotted half an apple strudel still needing to be eaten. And it was good!
