Violet blue

Four and a half hours on the train back from London, then straight into Parliament and the Chamber meant few opportunities to hunt a decent blip. You could have had any number yesterday from in and around the Abbey. Today, not so much.

So, back to the garden!!

This year is the first year my hydrangea has flowered properly. It was a church fête find a few years ago and has been growing slowly over that time but there's never been much in the way of flowers till now. I know that you can mess about with the soil to change the colour between pink and blue but I really like the deep violet-blue that it seems to want to be on its own :-)
