A still life composed of random items from our Boston apartment: A knubbly jute rug, a smooth, fluted cobalt glass canister, an absorbent, soft cotton dish towel, a rough woven basket, a satiny silver picture frame with raised beaded embellishment, and a ridged, corrugated scallop shell.
