Peregrine

Back to see if the peregrines were around they morning, I've been neglecting them of late. I was lucky to see the adult male and a juvenile, I think a female comparing her size to the smaller male.

It is good seeing them so independent now even though viewings are getting scarcer.

Here the juvenile had just taken off from the top of the old mill. They seem to have two take off methods jump jet style as demonstrated here and the fall and glide method before flying to regain height.
