Where Are We?

Out walking the dog this morning and my mind started wandering (as it does).
Some of the wandering took me to the forthcoming 'debate' on the TV about the impending vote for independence.

What I want to see coming out of this (but can't see it happening) is some answers.........

If the vote goes in favour of Yes -------

How much is it going to cost?
Has there been any costing done? (or is it as has been stated not been done as there is still plenty time)
Where is the money coming from for all the new bureaucracy (passport offices, Embassies, Border controls etc)
What is going to happen about the military, NHS, Post Office etc.
How is Scotland going to join the EU when the EU has said that it will have to apply as a new nation?
What is going to happen about currency since the Bank Of England and Westminster have said that Scotland will not have input into the monetary system?
What will happen about pensions etc?

This afternoon we found several men actually working on the road.
It has taken 5 weeks to get to this point.
The road is meant to be closed for 6 weeks.
Somehow I can't see them finishing the digging and then lay the new surface laid and ready in a week.
If it is laid and the road opened there is no danger that it is going to avoid needing numerous repairs over the next couple of years.
I still have no idea why this work is required because this section of road had no holes or damage in it.
Maybe that is why they are digging it up.

The kids play-park is apparently due to be finished on the 22nd ........... just in time for the schools going back.
The men doing the work were telling us that the parks dept. had wanted it all done before the summer holidays ............ they say the finance dept dragged their heels and didn't take into consideration the ordering/making/delivery of the equipment (which comes from Germany and is made to order)
