Pulling Mussels (from a shell)

I often wonder if seeing mussels colonise the ropes that tie the boats up in the harbour was what made people realise they could farm mussels?
Another lovely day – the sea sparkled and we ate more wonderful fish while drinking even more fabulous local wine at our final BBQ with our lovely friends.
