Thunder clouds above Lyngby
We spent the day in and around Lyngby, mostly at the Frilandsmuseet. This is an open air museum of old Danish and southern Swedish, (used to be part of Denmark), farmhouses. All the buildings had been brought from situ and then rebuilt in the museum grounds. The 'manor house' had food made in the style of 1914 using ingredients grown in the gardens. There were some great biscuits and a fine vegetable stew and an interesting pig fat on rye bread. The weather was very hot, which led to some thunder clouds; thankfully none of them produced rain.
