Friends

On my way to bring Lola for a quick stroll in Monkstown/Seapoint, I noticed this pair walk purposefully across the road to position themselves at the railing, as if returning to a favourite spot at the bar. A woman nearby (bringing her own wee dog back from a walk) told me she'd often noticed them together. Companionship, friendship: one of the most vital human qualities, is often the only thing that holds our apartness together. Eh, Estragon? Eh, Vladimir?
