Proud Mum and her Family

What a surprise this morning ..... walking round the pond in Maxwell Park I came upon this tufted duck family just sitting on the stone at the side. The tinies didn't stay there for long and were quickly swimming about the water like wee jet propelled engines. They were diving and then bobbing up again like a cork .... such fun to watch but almost impossible to photograph. I thought the baby season was past ..... how wrong can one be!
