into the darkness

After 3 days being indoors it was great to be out in the sunshine. This photo was taken as we were walking towards a nature reserve at Silverdale which is in an old limestone quarry.

I liked the patterns made my the sun that was getting through the tree canopy.

Through the gate at the end of the path and then into the brightness. A good short circular walk followed by packed lunch back at the car then a few hours atLeighton Moss RSPB reserve.
