Get out of my dreams...

Get into my car! Wouldn't it be nice? Chris Evans and his LaFerrari were flying around the circuit giving one lucky winner the ride of his life at Oulton Park. This was as they stopped for a breather. I took Miniman & his friend for the day. Loaded up with wellies & coats (which mercifully weren't needed) we wandered round taking in the sights & sounds of Carfest North.

The boys enjoyed the Top Gear Bugatti simulator and the Red Arrows simulator as well as fairground rides, bouncy castles, park rides, crazy golf and to top it off a ride in a monster truck to squash some cars. If you add that to watching some amazing cars on the race track, watching & listening to Texas, 10cc, the Feeling and me falling a?$< over t^# in front of a golf buggy being driven around by CLP as my ankle buckled beneath me (such an attention seeker!) and spying Sophie Ellis-Bextor (not the famous singer but Sophie from Strictly Come Dancing according to Miniman) with her family it was an all round top day!

Roll on August Bank Holiday when we get to do it for the whole weekend in a tent at Carfest South.
