Shag out to dry
Went back to the estuary today to see if I could spot the white heron I saw in the distance yesterday. There was no sign of the it today but instead I was entertained by this shag on a rock. It had been fishing and with outspread wings it rotated like a chicken on a spit in the sun to dry off. There was a sharp wind ruffling the water so no chance of a reflection.
