The golden hour ...

A great big dose of sunshine, saltwater and surf today .... just wonderful. Even better, walked home from the beach after lunch and indulged in one of those summer holiday treats, an afternoon nap.

Walked along the boardwalk from Venice Beach to Santa Monica in the late afternoon and watched the sunset from under the pier. A photographers dream with all the beautiful golden light filtering through the old timber piers.
