I get to go to the NICEST places.........

......site visit this afternoon to the Gibson St Baths, a semi-derelict Victorian/Edwardian swimming pool/public baths/washhouse that's being used for a (Building Surveying) student project. What you don't get from the shot is the smell of damp, dry rot and long-dead pigeons....so be thankful! There were probably better shots but to be honest my fingers are still so so numb from the cold I'm going for the first half-decent one. Next week's visit is to the Newcastle Castle Keep, fingers crossed I get invited along on that one.....it should be a bit more, errr, scenic!
