Tonight I was lucky enough to photograph the Edinburgh Tattoo courtesy of Blipfoto's festival competition. It was a fantastic opportunity. The show itself is a spectacle of colour and sound and lights. The staff from the tattoo were really lovely to me, and could't have been more helpful. I was right down on the esplanade next to the action. I was pushing my camera to it's limits and just totally enjoying the moment and absorbed by the whole experience. I've had real trouble picking a picture from tonight. so there's more on flickr if you're interested.

So all that is left now is to say Thank you ! to blipfoto... and to try to get some sleep, although I'm sure I'll be dreaming about this for some time to come.
