Rain

Saturday, race day. Boy, did it rain!

The boys went off to practice while I stayed in the caravan with the kids. We had a big drawing/colouring session. I might have mentioned it a few times, but Dylan's drawing has really come on in the last couple of months. Here is a dinosaur eating some flowers :)

Alan and Gill managed to find us and spent the afternoon watching the racing and helping to entertain the small people. There was a lot of playing with lego, thanks to Joe. Diddy played with that Star Wars lego for hours, making up stories with the little people. We had a full on reenactment of the Star Wars film (which he's not seen - and I'm not sure I have either to be honest!), complete with a jester as Princess Leia. He fell asleep clutching R2D2 and woke up in the middle of the night in a panic asking where the other characters had gone <3

Phil has promised to show him the film when we get back.

The rain stopped mid afternoon and the sun came out. We had a lovely BBQ at tea time and the children enjoyed jumping their bikes, and finding various random toys in the caravans....we had fishing nets, hula hoops, glow sticks, snorkeling gear, diabolo, kites.... all good fun
