Long time no see

This is Richie and me. He is in Glasgow with his wife, Caroline and sister-in-law, Lisa for the Commonwealth Games. Today he came to visit while the girls watched the netball. We all went for a meal later at the Eg.

I have known Richie for nearly 19 years. He's is a Geordie, I was working in Newcastle. We both applied for a job for the summer season in Jersey along with some others. We got the job and met at Newcastle fire station to get collected and taken for our flight to Jersey from Leeds Bradford airport. We had an amazing time that 1st year although it was hard work. There were lots of tantrums, fall outs, tears and laughs. Over the years we lost contact when John and I left Jersey to move back to Scotland but good auld FB got us all together again.

We had a great night and next time we meet up will be November in Jersey for our other friend, Matt's 40th birthday party! Looking forward to it.
