Utterly Tiny Life

To give you a sense of scale the guy rope that this newly hatched caterpillar is on is about 2.5mm thick. I've been watching the eggs (a clutch of which the caterpillar is wandering past, making remarkably quick progress), and saw tonight that one little gaggle was now in pieces. I've no idea how anything so small can survive out in the big bad world.

Monday. Productive in some ways. Need to continue the week in the same vein.
